People Come in to our lives for a Season A Reason or a Lifetime

I am not usually at a loss for words, especially when I write my columns, as they are one of my passions.
Todays' column /topic is one I never thought I would be writing about.
I am hoping via of my words, to pay tribute to a wonderful man, a gentleman and gentle man Dr. Bob Sager a.k.a. Dr. Bob.
Bob, as most know, practiced in Meaford and then moved to Liberal Kansas to help people down there. He was missed up here but loved what he was doing in Liberal. We had many conversations/emails about how his alternative work was helping people in their daily lives.
Bob's website and blog were very informative and recently he did a PBS television show that he admitted he was nervous on camera but pleased with the outcome. (info to follow)
Bob was at his cottage for the past couple of weeks and loved every minute of it...he was painting, cleaning, entertaining, enjoying coffee in Mc Guinty's, visiting friends and speaking of coming back to Meaford to semi retire and help people back here...I must say, to all who knew of this decision...it was well received.
Bob said he would have best of two worlds...working at his leisure, helping those who needed it..."When the Student is ready the Teacher appears"...and then at the end of the day he could enjoy the beautiful sunsets on his family beach. Of course, when the snows hit he would head to a warmer client!
Bob will be missed by many and we all wish him the best on the other side...Gone but not forgotten and the good news is, in my beliefs, and Bob's...we left behind now have another Guardian Angel!

Happy Summer to everyone...Summer Solstice came into effect today, Monday the 21st of June...it's here!
Many celebrations all over the world...especially the all night event at the prehistoric monument on Salisbury Plain,known as Stonehenge. Thousands of people are present and eager to attend this yearly celebration! Interestingly, the World Heritage site was built in three stages between 3000 B.C. and 1600 B.C. and is one of Britain's most popular tourist sites...hosting more than 850,000 visitors a year! An exciting part of being there for the Solstice is the fact that you are allowed inside the stone circle...no other time during the year does this occur! Can you imagine the energy there?
Visiting Stonehenge is one of my "bucket list" intentions!

We are in very interesting times and I, like many others, am noticing the shift of people's awareness! My weekly Messengerfiles radio show and my columns and Facebook fan page: Carole Matthews Intuitive, are becoming more in sync with what is "going on" out there and people are searching for answers and eager to learn more! A great time to be alive and to walk in gratitude!
We may not understand all the politics and events that are appearing in the media but let's keep ourselves open to being a part of the "big picture."

June, as mentioned in my previous blogs, is a month of changes, clearing and speaking out! Are you doing any of the above? Be true to yourself, remember that you are important and it is necessary to remove ourselves from things and events that do not serve us anymore! We can not serve from an empty cup!
Decluttering is an excellent exercise to help us to move on and as I sit here at my laptop, fingers flying, I look over at my living room...full of "stuff" I am clearing from my cabin on the bay! Of course, being a Sagittarian, it has to all be done NOW! Lucky we can wear many hats...In five minutes I put on my Intuitive Medium/Radio host beret and head to the station to do one of my many passions, my "Messengerfiles" show!
Life is good and never a dull moment!

I ALLOW IMAGINATION IN MY LIFE

Well, how has your month been? June is such an exciting month for many...a "6 "month in Numerology and a time to speak your truth! A "6 month" is one where we assess what went before us since the beginning of the year and then we affirm what we want to accomplish for the next six months! I chose the affirmation "I Allow Imagination in My Life because that is what propels us forward...imagination and passion! Without these two energies we are lacking in many areas!
I have the pleasure of doing a "personal birthday forecast" every Monday morning at 7:45 am on 560 CFOS with Bob Durant...lots of fun and
I am sharing this weeks' issue with you...an interesting time to have a birthday!

*Put lots of positive energy and imagination into a resume and putting it out there in the right channels...that is Intention.
*Then comes trusting in yourself and your goals and Surrender to the Universe.
*Now, comes the big test! Let go of the outcome and Release it!
I know, not always easy but if you add the belief of Trust in your energy...it will work!
I have discovered in my own personal and professional life that if we are open to the signs that we are given things and events in our lives become much more doable!
Take some time to watch the dvd's "Celestine Prophecy" by James Redfield and "The Shift" with Wayne Dyer...you will definately catch on and be much more aware!

I, myself, have been working on my book...A Mediums'Journey *(not total title) and have been amazed at how things have fallen into place when the time was right to get it all together! Meeting an editor out of the blue, contacted by a lady offering to guide me through the writing process...then an offer of a high tech recorder to put thoughts and ideas on when they "come."The coincidences continue daily so do your best to remain open...all falls into place as it should!

Welcome to Spring/Summer weather...garage sales, gardening, people smiling and just loving to be outside! How fortunate we are!
How was your May? We are half way through it and I keep hearing complaints about all the chaos around us...Numerologists tell us that May is known to be a month of action, clearing energies and moving on with our goals and getting our priorities in order! Focus on our own, and others, well being, and we will coast into June, a month where we will feel much more in control!

Mercury was in Retrograde for part of May...Mercury being the planet of communication and Retrograde meaning backwards! This event will appear four times this year and, if ready for it...we can work with it! Be sure to double check all plans, reservations, contracts and you will sail right through it! ***Next dates (put in daytimer) August 20th-September 12th and December 10th till December 30th.
Retrograde times are also opportunities to move on from the past and let go of all that does not serve us anymore! New beginnings! Can only be good!

I believe in the wonder of nature!

What a wonderful journey I have been on since departing Toronto Pearson airport enroute to Canmore Alberta! I was told that the Rocky Mountains were a sight to see...amazing! It takes a lot to make me speechless but it happened as we drove into this quaint town! Today I went to Banff and accomplished one of my "Bucket lists"...the gondola UP Sulphur Mountain ! We were up to 7500 feet above sea level...Collingwood is 500 FT above sea level! My heart was in my mouth and my hands were totally soaked! I have been hearing the concept of doing one thing a day that scares you...well...that was it for many days! What a wonderful freeing experience! I WAS SO PROUD TO REACH THE TOP IN ONE PIECE THEN REALIZED I HAD TO COME BACK DOWN!

We did it and there are many pictures to prove it!

Tonight I am doing the format for my Monday 12 noon Messengerfiles radio show...my guest is Lynn Fawcett and Soul proprietor of Spirit of the Earth "Now Age" store in downtown Canmore. While exploring the town I walked into the store and got chatting with Lynn...she asked me where I was visiting from and I said Meaford. Lynn then blew me away by saying she was from Thornbury! What an interesting month it has been and it is only the 6th day into April!
Sunshine, positive energy from everyone and daffodils popping up all over the place! Today the beginning of April showers! Growth is in the air!

I am sitting here looking at my suitcases that are accompanying me to Canmore B.C. in a few hours...I can hardly wait! I believe in "putting it out there" and I always give others the formula and advice...sure is great when it happens to me!

I recently found an excerpt from his book "Illusions" (a must read!) I would like to share it with you now!
"Every person, all the events of your life are there because you have drawn them there. What you choose to do with them is up to you. To bring anything into your life, imagine that it is already there. This holds true for anything want drawn to your life. Imagine a blue feather. Visualize it, every line and edge of it, the tip, v-splits where it is worn and torn, the fluff around the quill. Do this just for a moment. Then let it go. Close your eyes for a moment and see the images in your mind. the detail,color,edges,a bright clear image floating in the darkness. Surround it in a golden light to help make it real. A golden glow will put it in high regard.
Where is the feather you ask? It is barrelling down on you like a Mack truck. It is around you, it is part of you. All the rest of this day you may be looking for this feather to appear. How have YOU faired through March!
Good morning everyone...I say morning because it is such a beautiful one...many people are complaining about the time change...not me! I do a weekly Monday morning Birthday Forecast called "Messengerfile Moments" at 7:45 a.m. on 560CFOS, and because I have the luxury of doing it via phone from my studio on Georgian Bay I now have the pleasure of being part of the beautiful sunrise as I talk to my cohort Bob Durant! Affirmation: Big Dreams Start Small!

We climb the ladder of life one step at a time
With each new rung the view around us becomes clearer.
So true...and with a new year approaching on Sunday February 14th it's time to climb the ladder and roar.
No, I haven't lost it...Chinese New Year, the Year of the Tiger is on Sunday February 14th...same as Valentine's Day!
This occurance is the first time since 1900 and in my way of thinking...could not have happened sooner! Valentines Day and Chinese New Year are all about love and forgiveness...of course, we need to love and forgive every day but good ole Life 101 seems to get in the way!
Chinese New year began, so they say, when Buddha called all of the animals of his kingdom to come to him and only 12 appeared...sound familiar? So, being the nice guy he was, he named a year after each of the animals and it is said that the person born in each of these years will have the traits of the animal!
February 14th 2010 begins the year of the Tiger...it will be a very interesting year for the world...a year to keep our focus and do what we want to do...climb the ladder and feel secure doing so, while making sure it is steady!
I find it interesting that the Chinese New year is later than ours and I am rather glad it is. From where I sit, I feel January is a bit of a write off for ideas etc. Holidays have taken their toll, we never plan do we? It makes sense to me to begin our year and goals when our mind is clearer, and it happens to fall in Aquarian time...Jan. 21st-Feb.21st! This is a sign of looking forward, being upfront and getting things done...and, to make it even better...the Zodiac Angel for Aquarian time is Gabriel the Angel of love! I love it when a plan comes together, don't you?
Have a great weekend...do for yourself and others and get those goals together...
Reach for the stars, if you fall you'll land among the clouds!

Ten tiny words of Power...IF IT IS TO BE IT IS UP TO ME!

Well...It may not seem like a big deal to many but it sure was to me...I did it...my Grandma Kenyon would be so proud of me...I actually ATE Haggis on Saturday nite at a great Robbie Burns event put on by the Collingwood Legion members etc! I have never, in all my years on this planet...attended a "Piping in of the Haggis" event and am so glad I didn't miss this one! The pipes and the drums and the love of the process by all was something to see...and the Haggis was actually good! Perception eh? Kudos to all who made it possible...and of course Robbie Burns!

Well, who knew...2010...sure came in with a blast, didn't it...in like a Lion? Hopefully we will all feel blessed this year and walk in gratitude! I realize it is easy to say be grateful and pay it forward when sometimes we wonder why and what happens if we don't! I truly believe we have choices and even though we have our "bad hair days" things do come around and we can usually see the reason or learn lessons from daily happenings!
lIVE EACH DAY AND BE IN THE MOMENT...EVERYTHING IS ENERGY AND WHEN WE THINK THAT WAY WE RECEIVE THE SAME!

AFFIRMATION: I WELCOME NEW BEGINNINGS IN MY LIFE

Well, what a day...Monday December 21st...Winter Solstice occurs as the Sun enters Capricorn at 12:47p.m....also the shortest day of the year! Go figure...it's also my BIRTHDAY...how can one enjoy martinis on a short day? Hmmm...start earlier maybe?
We have very interesting events coming up...of course Christmas and New years but...during those happenings a Full moon will arrive on New year's Eve...a BLUE moon at that...second Full moon in December...hence, blue moon! Enjoy it and make your "Passion board"(more on that closer to date!)Stay tuned!
On the other side of things...good old Mercury in Retrograde visits us December 26th till January 15th 2010!
